SJC Marketing is a full-service marketing, communications, and content company offering professional communications solutions for businesses locally, regionally, and nationally. Susan is a professional writer with expertise in marketing, communications, content creation and targeted distribution. Susan J. Campbell and her team of professionals offer businesses complete brand strategies, marketing strategies, online content creation, social media management, news releases, printed literature, and website content creation.
SJC had a strong base of clients that spanned from California to Florida. While Susan’s business was expanding across the country, she also wanted to provide more communications and marketing services locally and serve the community in St. Joseph.
Building partnerships and professional relationships with businesses in St. Joseph was important to Susan. Through her collaboration with local businesses, she knew she could create content and marketing strategies that would make St. Joseph shine for those who live in the city and for those who were considering moving to St. Joseph.
Susan approached the Chamber with the hopes that becoming a member could put her company into contact with the Chamber’s network of businesses that could benefit from her marketing solutions.
Rachel McCoy, of SJC, said that her company became a member of the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce in order to learn more about the communication needs of the local businesses and to become more involved in St. Joseph’s business community. Through the Chamber, SJC can be introduced to new businesses, just settling into St. Joseph, who need marketing strategies to advertise their business and help it grow successfully. The Chamber can also inform SJC of veteran local businesses looking to expand their services or expand their services to a wider or different audience.
Through the Chamber’s Lunch and Learn Series, SJC found a prosperous vehicle to inform community members about various communication tools and marketing strategies that would help their business brands grow. McCoy says that her SJC team enjoys helping local businesses get started with the right marketing strategies for their individual company. One-size marketing does not fit all, and SJC helps clients find the right fit for each individual organization.
Over time, the growth of a business fuels the need for more marketing as their businesses develop and change. SJC saw opportunities to follow these businesses through their expansions and their times of cutbacks, understanding their needs as a business partner and a community member.
Through the Chamber, SJC has benefited by opportunities to meet prospective clients through the Lunch and Learn Series and by receiving referrals from businesses who want more guidance with their marketing strategies. SJC has been able to reach out to local businesses and offer marketing solutions, like powerful message creation, a fresh online presence, step-by-step strategies for social media, and printed message tools. Some of their marketing solutions include website content creation, social media management, brand message creation, articles, blogs, newsletters, annual reports, fundraising appeals, business plans, and brochures. Their solutions that benefit local businesses branch out and benefit the entire community.
By educating local business leaders on marketing strategies, SJC has been able to let the community know who they are and what services they can provide for businesses. They have been able to market themselves through the help of the Chamber. Chamber publications, promotions, and referrals help SJC share their expertise with the community.
“The Chamber is actively working not only to help connect businesses with other businesses in our own community, but also to grow the business base we already have with new entities. We are proud to be members of an organization that cares a great deal about local business and offers so many ways to get involved and network.”
Through their Chamber membership, SJC has expanded their reach into the community. The Chamber has helped bring together businesses that are seeking their greatest success in the community with a marketing company that can provide them with tools to reach their greatest success. McCoy says that she and her team have also personally enjoyed promoting local businesses as they take pride in watching their community prosper. SJC has received several referrals from their relationship with the Chamber and has received much positive feedback from individuals who have attended their business seminars through the Chamber.
Currently, SJC has nearly 30 clients for which they are continuously writing. Some of their St. Joseph clients include Chamber members like the Youth Alliance, UCP of Northwest Missouri, Family Guidance Center, Habitat for Humanity, the Chamber, and the Northwest Missouri Children’s Advocacy Center. SJC’s business is growing stronger with each referral from their partnership with the Chamber.
McCoy says that her company’s services are based on “quality, value-added content and writing that reaches target audiences and achieves strong results.” McCoy credits their partnership with the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce with her company’s growing success and commends them for their service to all businesses in the region. McCoy says, “The Chamber is actively working not only to help connect businesses with other businesses in our own community, but also to grow the business base we already have with new entities. We are proud to be members of an organization that cares a great deal about local business and offers so many ways to get involved and network.”
